Clock's dial is made from 2 disk platters. One from a laptop computer and one from a desktop computer. The desktop's platter has a patina finish probably earned from many years of service in a tough environment.
Completing the dial are black hour and minute hands with a matching black zigzag second hand.
This geeky hard drive clock is quite striking and is another wonderful example of why we recycle computer components.
Actual hard drive motor magnets now serve as the clock's base, very cool.
Actual desktop computer's 3.5" drive transformed to spin the time.
Artist signed and numbered "Certificate of Authenticity."
Approximate size 4" wide by 5.5" tall.
“I received the clock yesterday--that was quick! I love the clock, and everyone at work is jealous (I work at a computer store and they think an HD clock is a cool idea). Thanks for your patience with my questions. I'll definitely keep you in mind in the future.” -- Alicia
